Hi, I'm Vee

I started Vee’s Pet Care in 2021 to support families who only want the very best level of care for their pets, delivered by someone they can genuinely trust.

As a fellow (fur) mum, I’ve spent over a decade working hands-on with clients and their pets across every stage of life - from raising puppies and establishing strong routines, to caring for senior pets in their twilight years.

Alongside this, I have extensive experience supporting dogs with additional needs, including nervous or sensitive dogs, guardian breeds, and pets who are accustomed to a high level of comfort, attention, and familiarity.

I also offer professional support for rescue pets, helping them settle into their new homes through structured, experience-led care that builds confidence and trust during what can be a major transition.

The services we offer are inspired by exactly what I would want for my own dog: attentive, dependable support and a consistent presence who takes the time to understand her needs and fit seamlessly into my routine.

Through years of lived experience, ongoing education, and a reputation for going above and beyond, we’ve developed a strong commitment to raising the bar when it comes to animal welfare.

Our services are best suited to pet parents who see high-quality pet care as an investment in their pet’s long-term wellbeing - while still valuing the reassurance of having a trusted, professional option available when short-term support is genuinely needed.

From being let down to thriving

Kiki’s owners were hesitant to trust someone new. With full-time jobs and two toddlers, they didn’t have the time or flexibility to manage midday walks themselves — and the inconsistency was beginning to impact Kiki’s behaviour and lead work.

We stepped in with consistent daily walks, photo and video updates after every visit, basic health checks, and continued reinforcing the lead skills she had been working on with her dog trainer — keeping her training consistent rather than undoing it.

Kiki is now calmer, more focused on the lead, and excited for her walks each day. Her owners have peace of mind knowing she’s exercised, supported, and genuinely cared for — with clear communication they can rely on.

From re-homed to spoiled rotten...

These newly rehomed Australian Shepherds were both lead- and people reactive, making traditional options unsuitable. It was their first time being left at home, and their owner felt anxious about how they would cope without her.

Before the holiday, we invested time getting to know both dogs, their triggers, handling preferences, and established routines. During the stay, we followed their structured exercise plan, managed walks carefully to avoid overwhelm, and provided twice-daily photo updates so their owner could see they were calm, happy, and safe in their own environment.

The dogs remained settled and secure at home — no regression, no stress behaviours. Their owner was able to travel knowing their specific needs were understood and respected, giving her complete peace of mind.

Boredom Buster

Ted’s owner works long office hours, leaving him home alone for extended stretches of the day. While friendly, Ted is selective about who he socialises with, which made finding the right support even more important.

They felt guilty knowing his days were quiet and unstimulating, and worried about whether he’d truly feel comfortable with someone new.

We introduced fun visits to break up his day - including scent work and obedience training, by building trust gradually and working at Ted’s pace, we created a relationship he felt safe and relaxed in.

Ted now looks forward to his visits, greets Vee with excitement, and is noticeably more settled throughout the afternoon. His owner has peace of mind knowing he’s not just exercised — but genuinely understood.

Testimonials

" We honestly couldn’t ask for better care for our dog. The level of professionalism and knowledge really stands out. It’s not just a quick dog walk — training is reinforced, health is checked, and we get photo and video updates every time.

Communication is always clear and reliable, which means we never have to worry. It’s such a relief knowing our dog is in safe, experienced hands.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a trustworthy and professional dog walker. "

" As a full-time working mum with twins, I was constantly feeling guilty about leaving our dog home all day. I just couldn’t juggle everything.

Midday visits have been a total game changer. He gets a proper walk, attention, and enrichment — and I get photo updates that instantly reassure me he’s happy.

He’s calmer, more settled, and I feel so much better knowing he’s being properly cared for. Honestly, it’s taken such a weight off my shoulders. "

“After a terrible experience with a doggy daycare I was hesitant to trust someone new but I’m so glad I found Vee’s Pet Care.

We now use them as our regular dog walker and for pet sitting and wouldn’t go anywhere else. The team genuinely knows their stuff when it comes to working with rescues and take the time to get to know your pet and provide a more personalised experience.

I prefer that my dog receives individual attention in her own home and she gets spoilt rotten.

The booking process is simple and stress-free. You honestly can’t put a price on that kind of convenience and care.”
